About Marcus

As a child, my friend and I would film short stories and movies with no camera, just our imaginations. This went on for years. My journey of visual storytelling began at one of the hardest times of my young life, my best friend – my grandfather passed away. I found his Pentax film camera and my life forever changed. 

I began to tell stories of life, of people I saw, documenting how life moved. In this time and experience I fell in love with how shifting light told unique stories with the passing of the day, the mood everchanging with the shades of color and the luminosity of the light. Like walking down a warm, bustling city street, then at night that same street becoming cold, dim, and desolate. I’ve always been fascinated with architecture, so discovering that I could bridge storytelling with capturing spaces, well it created a new passion for me. My craft invites you to not just envision yourself within the scene, but to truly feel its atmosphere and emotion. Each image embodies a natural elegance that draws you in, creating a sense of presence and connection.
